What to Expect
Have you ever agonized over an artist statement for a grant application, or worried your bio sounds too braggy, too dry, or just like everyone else’s? You’re not alone, and it doesn’t have to feel that way. In this supportive, practical workshop, we’ll demystify the art of professional writing for creatives. You’ll learn how to articulate what makes your practice unique, capture your authentic voice, and build materials that truly stand out. We’ll break down what different audiences are actually looking for, from online followers and peer review committees to granting agencies, so you can share your story with confidence and ease.
