A gathering rooted in cultural connection, language, and kinship.

Language & Culture Camp is a gathering rooted in kinship that brings people together to spend time with culture through language and shared learning, creating space for connection, reflection, and relationship-building. It is guided by care for where each person is coming from, recognizing that everyone arrives with different experiences, knowledge, and comfort levels.
Language and Culture Camp is a space for community to learn together in a respectful, welcoming space that values curiosity and listening, and holds culture as something living that grows through kinship.
What to Expect
Activities at the Language & Culture Camp may include:
- Indigenous language learning and practice
- Music, dancing, singing, storytelling, and drumming
- Crafting and arts-based workshops
- Teachings and sharing from community
- Land-based time outdoors
- Opportunities to learn, practice, and try new things at your own pace
Some activities are gentle and beginner-friendly. Some may be for folks who already have experience and want to keep practicing. All of it is rooted in respect, safety, and community care.
