First Light champions the arts as a key aspect to cultural preservation and revitalization.
As one of First Light’s social enterprises, First Light Centre for Performance and Creativity is an Indigenous-led, not-for-profit professional arts centre. It is dedicated to the creation, curation and exhibition of traditional and contemporary art striving to provide accessible and inclusive spaces for performance and visual arts in Downtown St. John’s.
First Light aims to provide affordable, accessible, and well-resourced spaces, supportive staff, and quality equipment, to encourage meaningful experiences in arts creation and
presentation.
Featuring a well-resourced 500-seat concert hall, a spacious and versatile multi-purpose room, as well as a commercial kitchen, this location is ideal for any event.
