Community Clean Up Day
Join us for Community Clean Up Day as we gather to care for the neighbourhoods around our three locations: 716 Water Street, 70 Brookfield Road, and 42 Bannerman Street.
We’ll be out picking up litter and spending time together around the spaces we know and love.

All supplies will be provided. This is a family-friendly, all-ages event and a meaningful way to share values of respect and reciprocity with the young ones in your life. Caring for the land isn’t just something we talk about; it’s something we do!
After the Clean-Up: Community BBQ
Head over to 70 Brookfield Road for a BBQ to wind down, eat well, and enjoy some well-earned time together. We’ll be offering shuttles between the BBQ and each clean-up site — so don’t worry about getting from one spot to another.

Please note: we are not providing transportation to or from our locations, but shuttles will run between the three clean-up sites and the Brookfield BBQ.
Safety First
We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable time, so here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Do not pick up sharp, hazardous, or unknown objects. Flag a staff member and we’ll take care of it.
- Stay on sidewalks and move carefully through side streets and alleys.
- Buddy up! No one should be working alone.
- Take your time, check your footing, and wear comfortable closed-toe shoes.
- Dress for the weather and bring water to stay hydrated.
- If you have any health concerns or mobility needs, let a staff member know and we’ll find the right role for you.
