LGBTQIA2S+ and Indigiqueer Relatives

At First Light, we honour the radiance, resilience, and diversity of LGBTQIA2S+ and Indigiqueer identities of relatives of our community. We are committed to centering and uplifting Two-Spirit voices, experiences, and expressions—recognizing the sacredness of these identities in our cultures and communities.

Caring for our Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer selves means embracing joy, community, and connection. What does care look like for you? Maybe it’s gathering with kin, practicing culture, reclaiming language, or simply taking a deep breath and existing in your truth.

Our goal is to create spaces that truly reflect the needs and dreams of our Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer community.

To our Two-Spirit kin and Indigenous LGBTQQIA+ relatives: You are cherished, you are powerful, and you are a vital part of our collective strength.
