What You’ll Do

  • Provide warm, respectful, and high-quality service to all passengers.
  • Operate First Light vehicles safely, efficiently, and in compliance with traffic regulations.
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance needs.
  • Assist clients with entering/exiting vehicles and with luggage, wheelchairs, etc.
  • Communicate clearly about routes, schedules, stops, and client requests.
  • Dispatch rides, confirm pickups, and coordinate with the Navigator team.
  • Ensure a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.
  • Promptly report any delays, incidents, or vehicle issues.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class 4 Driver’s License (can be completed during orientation)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Prior experience in transportation or customer service is an asset
  • Clean criminal record and vulnerable sector check required
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
