Orange Shirt Day Contest

For Orange Shirt Day 2020, we want to create an orange shirt logo that is meaningful to our community here at First Light. These shirts will be available for community to purchase and wear on Orange Shirt Day.

All children 12 and under are welcome to participate! The winning design will have their drawing used in our Orange Shirt Day 2020 T-Shirt Design & will also win a $100 Chapters Gift Card! All children who participate will be entered to win one of four $25 Chapters Gift Cards and may have their designs featured in other ways.

Educate your kids on Orange Shirt Day, residential schools, and about how every child matters. Then ask them to create a drawing that represents “Every Child Matters” to them. This can be as literal or as creative as you want – we even take scribbles! Please make sure the drawing is done in black ink/lead/crayon and on a white background so we are able to use it.

If you have a printer at home, you can print off a drawing frame, but you can also use any white paper!

More information on the contest, along with different age-appropriate resources, can be found here.

When your drawing is finished, please fill out our form and upload a picture/scan of it here: https://forms.gle/HW5shZu33fmr7gAX6

Deadline to submit: April 30, 2020
