Yoga operates once weekly at Cochrane Centre and is led by the talented instructor Joan Corrigan. To maintain inclusivity of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit customs, a smudge and the lighting of the Kullik (traditional Inuit woman’s oil lamp) is offered as a way of integrating the ancient physical, mental and spiritual practices of the Hindu philosophies of yoga with Indigenous ceremonial practices. Yoga is open to individuals of all genders and backgrounds, ages 16+.
Yoga operates on Tuesdays from 5:15-6:15pm at Cochrane Centre – 42 Bannerman Street.
