Elders Wisdom Circle is a weekly program that provides a variety of discussions, presentations and activities for Elders ages 55+. Its focus is on the exploration of Indigenous and cultural enrichment and education, in a peer-support based atmosphere built on mutual trust and understanding Activities range from crafting, a wide range of Indigenous Teachings, film screenings, lands based outings, and much more. The basic tenet of Wisdom Circle is to provide a sense of community, belonging and cultural enrichment.
Elders Wisdom Circle operates on Fridays from 12-2pm either at Cochrane Centre – 42 Bannerman Street, or First Light headquarters – 716 Water Street.
