Eastern Owl – Qama’si – Album Launch

First Light Centre for Performance & Creativity is proud to present the upcoming album release of Qama’si – the sophomore album by St. John’s based All Nations Indigenous Folk band, Eastern Owl!

The Mi’kmaq word “qama’si” translates to “stand up” in English.

Eastern Owl will be joined on stage by some of the guest musicians who performed on the album including throat singer Tama Fost, soloist Kassidy Lush, and instrumentalists Kelly McMichael, Sarah Harris, Denise Lear, Darren Browne and Maggie Burton. Chris Donnelly will also be joining the band on a few songs!
